Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Projected Pay Range: $60.00-$64.00 per hour

What You'll Do



  • Perform strength, stiffness, and fatigue analysis across multiple vehicle subsystems, including chassis, closures, body structures, powertrain, battery components, seating, and exterior/interior systems
  • Conduct CAE-to-test correlation and support full-system, sub-system, and component-level validation activities
  • Develop test plans and participate in regulatory, certification, compliance, and durability testing
  • Generate FEM meshes from CAD models or engineering sketches
  • Partner directly with design engineers to influence design direction and ensure components meet durability targets
  • Use and learn advanced CAE tools such as ANSA, HyperMesh, HyperView, MetaPost, OptiStruct, nCode DesignLife, HyperWorks products, ADAMS, and more
  • Benchmark new analysis methods, support CAE process automation, and contribute to new tool/method development
  • Maintain accurate, traceable documentation for all simulations, analyses, and validation activities



What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of related experience in automotive CAE analysis, durability, testing, and validation
  • Strong proficiency with linear, nonlinear, fatigue, dynamic, and optimization analysis
  • Fluent in industry-leading CAE tools including ANSA, HyperMesh, HyperView, MetaPost, OptiStruct, nCode, ADAMS, or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of structural mechanics and materials
  • Skilled in developing load cases, establishing performance targets, and creating validation plans
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support data-driven design decisions
