Hours & Pay



  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $34.00 per hour



What You'll Do



  • Execute assigned tasks aligned with project deliverables and development milestones.
  • Contribute to early-stage laser process concepts, testing strategies, and design solutions.
  • Build and refine prototypes from initial concepts with minimal engineering oversight.
  • Apply strong technical knowledge to innovate and develop new processes, tooling, procedures, and automation solutions.
  • Coordinate procurement, qualification, and integration of new or modified laser equipment.
  • Prepare documentation, technical reports, and data summaries for engineering review.
  • Partner with engineering teams to obtain essential materials, services, and data inputs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to secure supplies and support.
  • Train and mentor peers on technical processes and equipment operation.
  • Make significant technical contributions to medium- and high-complexity projects with limited supervision.
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, Production, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Equipment Engineering to ensure project success.
  • Propose and develop new or improved designs, materials, and processes with minimal direction.
  • Troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions to technical challenges.
  • Support research and evaluation of emerging technologies in your functional area.
  • Influence cross-functional teams with a well-supported technical rationale and articulate resource needs for experimentation.



What You'll Bring



  • At least 5 years of experience with an AA degree or an equivalent blend of education and technical work experience.
  • Strong experience with laser systems-a must-have for this role.
  • Hands-on experience with machine integration, including optical systems.
  • Aeroteck programming experience.
  • The ability to work independently, solve complex issues, and provide valuable technical contributions.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
