Position Summary

Our client is a dynamic publishing and business intelligence company that produces annual economic reports and daily digital content across multiple markets. With a team of ~30-50 employees, they combine traditional publishing excellence with innovative digital strategies to deliver insights that help leaders, investors, and communities understand the economic landscape.

The Head of Content who will play a pivotal role in shaping editorial direction, driving audience growth, solidifying and growing SEO and GEO impact, and ensuring the company's content becomes a revenuegenerating engine.

The Role

The Head of Content will report directly to senior leadership and oversee a remote editorial team of appox 2 senior editors, 6 content managers, and 1 editorial assistant. This leader will manage the full content lifecycle-from ideation to publication-across print and digital platforms, maintain the editorial calendar to connect newsletters, reports and summit content.

Key responsibilities include:



  • Overseeing annual business reports (18 titles published each year)
  • Managing daily articles, newsletters, and digital content
  • Coordinating with SEO and digital marketing partners to grow traffic and conversions
  • Ensuring the company's website drives subscriptions, memberships, and advertising revenue
  • Implementing innovation initiatives, including AI adoption for content optimization
  • Maintaining editorial standards, brand voice, and workflow efficiency
  • Reporting regularly on KPIs, successes, and strategic direction


Growth Potential

This role offers clear upward mobility. With strong performance, the Head of Content could evolve into Director of Content or Chief Content Officer, expanding into new formats, markets, and P&L responsibility.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $90k - $110k. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
