Project Scheduler - Automation / Automotive / Electrical

Location: Chattanooga, TN | Full-Time, On-Site

Salary: $65,000 - $72,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team in Chattanooga. This role is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules for large-scale projects across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for FEED and execution phases.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to align scope, deliverables, and timelines.
• Monitor project progress, identify critical path activities, assess scheduling risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Update schedules to reflect changes and ensure integration of engineering and construction activities.
• Review and approve subcontractor schedules, ensuring alignment with the master schedule.
• Provide schedule reports to senior leadership and project management teams.
• Support project forecasting, resource planning, and decision-making processes.
• Ensure schedules comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• 5 years of scheduling/planning experience in automotive, oil & gas, large construction, or similar sectors.
• Experience with FEED and execution phases of large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with MS Project and scheduling software.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, critical path analysis, and mitigation planning.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills; experience working with cross-functional teams.
• PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Must be local to Chattanooga, TN, with availability for domestic and international travel.
