We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Banquet team as an Assistant Banquet Manager at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown hotel. We are committed to providing you with:
Here is what you will be doing each day: Responsible for providing assistance to the Banquet Manager in coordinating, supervising, training and directing all banquet personnel to ensure the success of all banquet events while maintaining high standards of service. Does this sound like you? Communication is one of your strengths and you have a self-starting personality with an even disposition. You have comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette, knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware and knowledge of all applicable federal, state and local health and safety regulations. You've worked in event management or catering. You have supervisory experience and know how to motivate a team to stay on task and exceed guest expectations. 2 - 4 years: Experience working in banquet/event management and beverage experience required. (required)
