Job Summary:


The Work Tool Specialist provides administrative support, orders all machine attachments and work tools, and works with all divisions of the company, including Sales, Rental, and Service.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage inventory operations for work tools across all Fabick locations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory optimization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all work tool inventory inquiries and support.
  • Confirm compatibility of work tools and attachments with machines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including specifications and sizing, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Monitor supplier stock levels and availability.
  • Develop and implement best practices for inventory management, including aged inventory reduction and forecasting strategies.
  • Approve vendor invoices and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Support system processes for inventory receipt and other operational tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business objectives.



Requirements
Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Business Administration or other Business related field required.
  • At least 2 years of general office administration experience preferred but not required
  • At least 2 years of experience ordering machinery or parts preferred but not required
  • Ability to manage priorities for individual responsibilities and tasks.
  • Quality computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Skilled in written and verbal communications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Cat machinery preferred but not required


Physical Requirements:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit for long periods, stand, walk, bend and stoop to perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
