Manager, Enterprise Applications

The Manager, Enterprise Applications is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management of Inotiv's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) ecosystem, ensuring platforms effectively support sales performance, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and data integrity. In addition to CRM stewardship, this role provides oversight for a defined portfolio of enterprise applications (e.g., Call Center platform), ensuring alignment with business objectives and enterprise technology standards.

The Manager directs a skilled team and collaborates extensively with stakeholders across IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions that enable organizational growth and data-driven decision-making.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Team Selection & Onboarding: Recruit top talent and oversee structured onboarding to ensure rapid productivity and cultural alignment.

  • Team Development: Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture through coaching, mentoring, and continuous feedback.

  • Work Assignment & Prioritization: Clearly define direction, delegate work efficiently, and manage workload across team members for optimal throughput.

  • Performance Management: Regularly evaluate performance, set goals, and provide constructive feedback in line with company's performance management process.

Product Ownership & Strategic Planning

  • Serve as the strategic owner for CRM platforms and designated enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business strategy and enterprise architecture.

  • Partner with functional leaders to develop and maintain multi-year product roadmaps that balance innovation, enhancement, and operational stability.

  • Manage product backlogs, prioritize requirements, and ensure delivery of capabilities that support business value realization.

  • Leverage analytics, performance metrics, and user insights to guide continuous improvement and adoption.

  • Support business case development for enterprise applications initiatives in collaboration with the Director, Business Technology Programs.

  • Oversee vendor partnerships, contracts, and budgets to ensure service quality, compliance, and cost effectiveness.

Systems Management & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure supported applications operate securely, reliably, and efficiently in accordance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor system performance, manage issue resolution, and lead remediation efforts to minimize disruption.

  • Direct the planning and execution of upgrades, patches, enhancements, integrations, and related technical initiatives.

  • Serve as the technical lead for strategic projects within the enterprise applications portfolio.

  • Partner with security, infrastructure, and architecture teams to maintain compliance, platform stability, and integration integrity.

User Enablement & Operational Support

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training and enablement programs to promote effective system utilization.

  • Function as the primary escalation point for user concerns, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of issues.

  • Establish and maintain Super User Programs to enhance business engagement and strengthen distributed expertise.

Governance, Quality, & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, regulatory obligations, data governance standards, and security requirements.

  • Maintain accurate system documentation, validation materials, and audit-support artifacts in partnership with Quality, Legal, and Internal Audit.

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
