Ramboll is seeking a highly motivated Consultant, Geologist or Environmental Scientist with a desire to develop a multi-disciplinary environmental consulting career by joining the firm's collaborative, diverse, and creative team in Arlington, Virginia. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Perform site investigations and assist with the delivery of projects that may include environmental due diligence, environmental permitting and compliance, and/or site remediation;
• Manage and oversee subcontractors;
• Evaluate analytical and field data;
• Utilize GIS, statistical analysis, Power BI, modeling programs, and related digitalization technologies to deliver meaningful and concise data deliverables; and
• Prepare written technical reports.

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant science discipline (geology, environmental science or related)
• No experience is required, although 40-hr HAZWOPER training is prefered
• Effective written/verbal communication, organization/analytical skills, database comprehension, and GIS skills
• Detail-oriented with mechanical aptitude for trouble-shooting/problem-solving on the fly
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel up to 30% with valid driver's license, and work independently with minimal supervision on project based tasks
• The physical requirements of this position may include the need for climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing/sitting/walking, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. In certain situations, this position may expose the candidate to extremes in weather (hot/cold); to hazards such as a proximity to moving machine parts and moving vehicles, high noise levels, electrical current, and chemicals or contaminated media.

Salary Transparency Statement

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at annually between $60,850 to $75,850. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
