Requisition ID# 168889 Job Category: Compliance / Risk / Quality Assurance Job Level: Individual Contributor Business Unit: Operations - Other Work Type: Onsite Job Location: Sacramento Department Overview The Safety and Infrastructure Protection Team (SIPT) serves under the Wildfire Operations (WO) - Wildfire, Emergency and Operations (WEO) organization and performs wildfire mitigation, wildfire prevention, asset protection, and emergency fire response to support PG&E's stand that catastrophic wildfires shall stop. The purpose of the SIPT organization is to safeguard PG&E coworkers and our communities by protecting our infrastructure through ignition containment, hazard mitigation, and emergency response. To accomplish this, the team performs a wide range of emergency responses, wildfire mitigation, and routine work activities. Position Summary Operations Support Specialists work in a round-the-clock/365-day operation. They receive information and requests for assistance from various sources, including SIPT field units, HAWC, PSS Team, Fresno Dispatch, and by monitoring agency radio communications. They work in conjunction with field supervisors to evaluate the need for response to various types of incidents including Fires, 911 standby, EPSS outages, emergency switching and emergency work. They assign and track resources utilizing a resource management platform throughout the service territory. PG&E is providing the salary range that can reasonably be expected for this position at the time of thejob posting. This salary range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, and geographic location.The decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs Bay Area - $159,000 - $236,500 Job Responsibilities
