The Elliott Lab at the University of Minnesota is seeking applicants for a 12-month, 100%-time postdoctoral associate. This position is ideal for applicants who have MRI processing and data analysis experience and are interested in studying individual differences in cognitive and brain aging. The successful applicant will join an active laboratory, under the direction of Professor Max Elliott, that is addressing a wide array of questions in aging, brain imaging, and psychopathology research. This position will include a central role in an active, funded collaboration between the Elliott Lab and researchers at Harvard University, Stanford University, the University of Chicago, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Oslo, and Umea University. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on available funding, performance, and departmental need. Salary range: $62-65K, depending on qualifications and experience.

Duties:
* 50% - Prepare manuscripts to submit for publication based on data sets in the lab, including, but not limited to, MRI, epigenetics, blood biomarkers, and cognitive assessments.
* 20% - Data management and analysis. Organizing, cleaning, analyzing, and acquiring data.
* 15% - Train and supervise undergraduates, graduate students, and personnel responsible for data collection and related data analyses.
* 15% - Participate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of research studies.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:
* Ph.D. in a related field or discipline.

Preferred qualifications:
* Expertise in MRI data collection, processing, and analysis
* Experience in mentoring and supervising staff
* An established scientific publication record
* Strong data management skills

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $62,000-$65,000 per year; depending on education/qualifications/experience
