We are looking for a Technical Lead, Patient Support Solutions to join our Digital Technology team based out of Atlanta, GA (hybrid, 40% onsite)

About the role

The Technical Lead, Patient Support Solutions partners with the UCB business unit teams to lead projects, use technology systems, and manage technical support resources (internal and/or external) to support patient support/experience programs.

Who you'll work with

This role will work closely with internal stakeholders (Patient Support Program, Data & Reporting, Marketing etc.) as well as external vendors & partners.

What you'll do

  • Possesses the ability to analyze, manage, implement, train end-users, and support technical systems and associated business processes.
  • Assists with technology specifications and implementation plans.
  • Provides technical and business analyst expertise involving the design, development, construction and on-going support of systems, processes, integrations, or methods.
  • Provide technical support in the deployment of purchased application as well as overseeing system design, development, implementation, and maintenance of internally developed applications. Involved in defining, managing, and supporting interfaces between multiple vendors and systems.
  • Provides strategic business analyst expertise of systems, processes, or methods.
  • Responsible for delivering attainment of project plans, milestones, deliverables, and financial targets for assigned projects and programs.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to develop trusted relationships
  • Serve as the IT SME for U.S. Patient Support Programs. Maintain awareness of industry trends, identify opportunities for business process and technology improvements and value creation.
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and management of vendors and partners.

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 7+ years' experience in full systems life cycle management and deployment experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry related to Patient Support/Experience Programs (Data aggregators, co-pay and reimbursement partners, specialty pharmacies and third-party data sources, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Experience in the support of computerized System Validation, part 11 compliance
  • Experience with technology systems to support commercial/go-to-market teams in the life sciences industry
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA requirements (Data Security, Encryption, storage, handling, etc) and associated system impacts.
  • Thorough understanding of project management methodology and system development lifecycle principles, validation & qualification

This positions reasonably anticipated base salary range is $124,000-163,000. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
