THE ROLE: We are seeking anexceptionalSenior DirectorofEngineeringto leadourMachine Learningworkloadperformance andoptimizationteamacross various frameworksand modelarchitectures.Thisis a highly visible rolewith large scope and impact. AsSenior DirectorofML workload performance, you will leadand builda team of expertsin ML, optimizationsand systemlevelsoftwarefocusingongetting the best performance onmultiplegenerationsof AMD GPUs withwide range of models includinglateststate-of-the-artAImodels.You will set strategy and roadmap for general optimization and acceleratingsupporting new models. Furthermore, you will be working withcustomersand businessunitson perf projection,analysis andcome up withnovelsolutionsto satisfypartnerneeds.Andparticipatingin standardperformancebenchmarks. If you are passion about performance optimization, getting the bestoutofthe HW, and shaping the futureofAI acceleration, then this role is for you. THE PERSON: The ideal candidatewill havea proventrack recordof building and leading a world-classperformanceengineeringteam.ExperiencewithMLhardware architecture, software optimization,performancemodelingand latest trend in inference and training.Experienceinmapping model architectureto low level software,hardwareandunderstandingtheimpact of each layer of the stacktomodel performance. Strong knowledgein latestgenerativemodelarchitecture, especiallySoTAmodels, distributed inferenceand deployment at scale is crucial. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
