Description This role is a Field Technician position Performs site readiness, deployment, and validation tasks during nationwide project waves under remote direction. Executes detailed checklists, ensures proper equipment setup, and represents Aldridge professionally at client locations. Core Responsibilities Perform onsite deployments and physical setup of IT infrastructure (workstations, networking devices, peripherals). Follow structured scripts and documentation provided by the project team. Execute connectivity, user access, and Microsoft 365 validation checks. Communicate real-time progress and issues to remote engineers and the Project Manager. Document completion steps, photos, and verification details in ConnectWise or project system. Support remote prep and post-travel follow-up tasks when not onsite. Reporting & Structure Reports to Director of Professional Services for people management. Takes daily direction from Project Manager and Project Architect. Individual contributor role with no direct reports. Travel and expenses follow standard Aldridge procedures. Network connectivity validation (switch/AP status, cabling verification). Basic Microsoft 365 configuration validation (user logins, OneDrive, Outlook). Endpoint security verification (SentinelOne, Datto SaaS readiness). Basic printer, scanner, and peripheral configuration.
