POSITION SUMMARY

The True West Concierge provides exceptional service to guests by delivering personalized assistance, information, and coordination across all aspects of the Premium Experience program. This role is dedicated to ensuring a seamless, luxury-level experience for all seasonal and daily True West guests, assisting with a variety of services including on-mountain dining reservations and parking logistics. The Concierge works closely across the Premium Experience team, resort departments, and guests to provide tailored recommendations, resolve issues efficiently, and enhance the overall guest experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Maintain updated knowledge of assets specific to the True West Pass and Steamboat Resort needs
  • Warmly greet guests and confirm reservations
  • Provide highest level of customer service and attention to detail
  • Maintain positive ongoing relationships
  • Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism
  • Multitask and prioritize as necessary to meet customer needs
  • Represent the company with integrity and dedication
  • Effectively collaborate across resort departments to deliver exceptional experiences
  • Anticipate guest needs by offering personalized recommendations for activities, dining, and resort amenities
  • Track guest feedback and communicate insights to the Manager to assist in ongoing program improvement
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests, encouraging repeat visits and loyalty through consistent service excellence
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, guest services, or concierge services
  • Strong knowledge of resort amenities, activities, and services
  • Previous experience in a luxury hospitality or resort environment preferred
  • Familiarity with resort software systems (e.g., RTP, Zingle) preferred
  • Customer service: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and polished demeanor
  • Organizational skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Problem-solving: A solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to think quickly and calmly under pressure
  • High attention to detail: Meticulous and responsive to meet client needs and preferences
  • Discretion: The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism
  • Networking and local expertise: The capacity to build and maintain a network of service providers across the resort and within the community, as needed
  • Flexibility: A willingness to work flexible hours during peak times, including weekends and holidays, to ensure premium guest needs are met
  • 2 years of previous work history/education required
  • Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent


The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.

Steamboat Resort hourly pay range: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to travel via gondola in winter conditions to mountain lodge
  • Ability to climb 1-2 flights of stairs
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and occasionally bulky bundles (e.g. slippers)
