This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work part-time during the school year and full-time through the summer of 2026.The internship is located out of either our Fond du Lac, WI; Sun Prairie, WI; Freeport, IL; or Janesville, WI office locations.

The contributions you will make: This internship will assist with real estate evaluations and market surveys as well as obtain and analyze sales data information to accurately plat legal descriptions for sales and plat subject properties.

A typical day:



  • Collect and analyze sales information to support appraisals and asset valuation.


  • Assist appraisers with property inspections.


The skills and experience we prefer you have:



  • Working towards completion of bachelor's or associate degree in agricultural business, business administration, finance or economics.


  • Agricultural background required, with knowledge of agriculture economics and farm practices.


  • Strong oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.


  • Knowledge of values of machinery and equipment, typical to agriculture in the area.


  • Computer skills, including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), client databases and industry software (Facts, FEM or equivalent).


How we will take care of you:

Actual hourly rate offered is dependent upon year in school, work experience, transferable skills, business needs and market demands. The hourly rate range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Base Pay
$19 $20 USD
