As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will partner with Sales, Marketing, Education and Sr. Management to understand and improve the Kao USA Salon Division & Kao Americas Salon Division performance. You will involve yourself in both understanding actual results and influencing decision-making in the future. Responsibilities and projects range from simple to complex and require the use of analytical modeling and business problem solving skills.

What you will do:



  • Facilitate the planning and direction of our financial analysis activities such as budget variance analysis, capital budgeting and month-end reporting.
  • Work with multiple departments to develop the Kao USA Salon Division annual corporate budget and related forecasts. We monitor the budgets and forecasts monthly, quarterly, and annually to track variances to the corporate Budget and Latest Estimate. Employees submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to department heads, senior management, and corporate headquarters.
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to Finance, Marketing, Sales and GM's office on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Develop margin analysis and forecasts for Budget and Latest Estimate requirements. Work with Marketing and Sales to review margin analysis.
  • Develop reports and analysis for internal needs and for all Kao USA & Kao Americas Salon Division reporting requirements.
  • Be an information liaison between Sales, Marketing and Education departments and Finance for Customer Programs and pricing issues.
  • Prepare special reports to analyze financial transactions and analysis.


What you will need:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • At least five years of related experience in a similar CPG environment
  • Must have a general understanding of IFRS requirements.
