The Project Professional serves as a key liaison between the firm and the client, translating client expectations into deliverable outcomes through leadership, project management, and technical oversight. This role supports the registered/licensed professional of record and is responsible for executing all phases of project development-from concept to construction. The ideal candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of firm values, industry standards, and project delivery methods while contributing to team leadership, business development, and client satisfaction. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Responsibilities

    Act as the primary liaison between the firm and the client, managing expectations, communication, and overall project success.
  • Lead the design process from concept through construction, ensuring technical accuracy, code compliance, and adherence to firm standards.
  • Work with employees and design teams including consultants to coordinate, design and produce projects.
  • Oversee the development of project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of contract documents, reports, amendments, change orders, and construction phase services.
  • Provide advanced design problem-solving, 2D/3D modeling, and graphic presentations for client and team use.
  • Support marketing and business development efforts through client engagement and proposal assistance.
  • Participate in fieldwork and data collection to inform design and project execution.


Qualifications

  • Professional degree from a college or university.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry standards, client expectations, and project delivery.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, building codes, and construction documentation.
  • Skilled in 2D and 3D design tools and graphic presentation.
  • Familiarity with project financials, contracts, and specifications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
