Description
We are looking for an energetic self-starter to lead our Banquet team in executing flawless, brilliant events! WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: The hotel has approximately 20,000 square feet of function space and the capability to host mutliple groups at once. Working with our sales & events team and our food & beverage operations, you will plan, schedule and manage your staff to ensure that events meet and exceed client expectations. WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE: Prior experience as a banquet manager is essential. Excellent guest service and communication skills, both written and verbal, will be important. We are looking for an exceptional people manager with the ability to train and inspire. Strong management skills are also required to be successful in this role, including planning, scheduling, executing multiple events at once, and inventory control. Bachelors of Hospitality and Resort Management (preferred)
High School (required) Experience
2 years: Prior experience managing banquet and event staff is required. (required)
