About this Role - Electrical Constructability Manager We are looking for a talented Construction Manager who has a passion for quality construction. The Electrical Constructability Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that electrical designs are practical, cost-effective, and executable in the field. This position bridges the gap between pre-construction, estimating, engineering, and construction, providing expertise to optimize constructability during design development and throughout project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, construction methodologies, and project management. What You'll Do - Align work execution plan with estimating efforts. - Coordinate with Local Unions to identify manpower capacity, licensing requirements, and designation of building trades work scopes. - Review electrical design documents for pre-fabrication opportunities, constructability, compliance, and efficiency. - Establishes internal Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for field production tracking and Schedule of Values (SOV) development. - Assist with review of project contract terms and conditions. Establish control points for verification of contract compliance. - Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to identify and resolve design challenges early. - Assist in development of safe project plans, quality plans, cost estimates, clarifications, project schedule, and execution planning. - Develops and employs installation best practices for field execution to improve project outcomes. - Identify equipment/tooling logistics plan with project management/field supervision. - Perpetually improves internal processes. - Provide field personnel training for MJE systems including but not limited to safety applications, short interval planning, field time entry, quality management, equipment/tool ordering, T/M tracking, change order management, documentation control process, etc. - Conducts periodic site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to constructability standards. - Develop customer labor/equipment/tooling rates and associated mark-up percentages. - Manage BIM design coordination with field supervision/management. - Coordinates directly with Project Supervision and the Design Team to keep the project design progressing, provides project with installation drawings, and updates the Model with as-built information. - Works with engineering, equipment suppliers, and subcontractors to develop installation strategies, scope definition, and solve installation challenges. - Ensures site supervision/management maintain current project records, design drawings and data, shop drawings, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, etc. - Acts as point of contact for all Design Software Coordination. - Provide updates to Pre-Construction Manager as needed. What You'll Bring - Data Center experience is required. - BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field experience preferred. - 5+ years of Industrial Electrical Project experience is required. - Experience with $50M+ electrical projects preferred. - Proficient understanding of 3D modeling systems. - Proficient in Blue Beam, Procore, BIM360, P6, and other industry standard software. - Excellent computer, communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills.
