What is a Merchandiser Lead / Trainer at Swire Coca-Cola?



Our Merchandiser Lead Trainers will be working within the Peer Engagement Program currently at the Tempe facility. In this role you will be the face of our company in welcoming all new hired employees to our organization. Assuring all merchandisers not only understand but also recognize the importance of their roll. Guaranteeing all merchandisers have the necessary understanding of the basic job functions before joining their corresponding supervisors. This role plays a crucial piece in supporting the sales team, by teaching the Coca-Cola company standards to our newest talent.



Responsibilities include:



  • Providing new merchandisers with the foundation that aligns with the company's mission, values, and goals
  • Assisting merchandisers in becoming the best version of themselves
  • Pride in making an impact on the development of our company's new talent and successes in retention
  • Offering a consistent level of knowledge, contributing to further development and accomplishments of merchandisers

  • An essential understanding in all Microsoft applications is required


  • Complete verifications for new hires during the onboarding process
  • Become a subject matter expert. Deliver policies and proper procedures which reflect company standards, as well as clarify any questions - ensuring all new hires are receiving the most accurate information


  • Provide new hires with a company issued phone and the necessary applications to complete their job assignments. Collaborate with offsite technology specialist. Troubleshoot equipment problems and/or replacing devices/accessories
  • Order and track uniform inventory. Track and update spreadsheets of company assets through collaboration with internal supervisors
  • Facilitate required new hire orientation class virtually through Microsoft teams



Requirements:



  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
  • High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
  • Must have a valid ARIZONA driver's license
  • Driving record must meet Swire's vehicle policy requirements
  • Reliable form of transportation with mileage reimbursement
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively as needed
