As a Security Professional - Distribution Facility in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol distribution and logistics locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and delivering outstanding customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Provide customer service by addressing inquiries from employees, visitors, and delivery personnel in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for security-related concerns and report any irregularities.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding occupants during evacuations and/or other urgent situations as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual activities in detailed reports for management review.
• Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment tailored to the needs of a logistics and distribution operation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
