What You'll Do

As a Building Enclosure Senior Project Manager, you'll lead complex enclosure projects from capture through closeout-serving as primary client contact, managing financials and schedules, directing field work and testing, and delivering highquality reports and repair designs. You'll mentor PM I/II colleagues, uphold QA/QC, and act as a trusted technical advisor.



  • Confirm scope/requirements with clients and stakeholders; communicate scope, roles, and expectations to the project team.
  • Prepare and implement proactive QA/QC plans; anticipate issues affecting client or SSR expectations and address them early.
  • Act as a technical expert to support BE activities; develop strategic plans and demonstrate competence to customers.
  • Perform condition surveys and failure investigations related to air and moisture leakage; design repairs addressing root causes.
  • Coordinate and direct enclosure testing; verify conformance with design specs, owner expectations, and codes.
  • Organize, schedule, and lead meetings with contractors, clients, and the BE team to discuss progress and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate activities across disciplines and contractors during design and construction; maintain decision/action logs.
  • Oversee project profitability-negotiate fees/contracts where appropriate, participate in budgeting, and ensure accurate, timely invoicing.
  • Identify, negotiate, and administer fees for additional services as needed.
  • Develop and maintain schedules; communicate milestones and manpower needs; monitor progress to keep projects on track.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and initiate corrective actions; prepare monthly billing projections and budget metrics.
  • Facilitate client communications; document key issues and decisions; prepare the final report documenting all BECx activities.
  • Supervise closeout to ensure documentation, lessons learned, and filings are complete.
  • Mentor and assist in training and evaluating PM I/II and other lessexperienced colleagues within the BECx group.



Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • Fifteen years related project experience
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect preferred


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of project approach, systems design, and building enclosure systems (roofing, belowgrade waterproofing, vertical wall systems).
  • Knowledge of building codes/regulations and construction procurement/designdevelopment processes.
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and project budgeting/financial management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, technical writing, presentation, persuasion, and sales skills.
  • Customer focus with strong negotiation skills, problem sensitivity, and sound judgment/decisionmaking; organized and deadlinedriven with accurate documentation.
