The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)in the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic functions as an assistant in the examination and treatment of patients under Physician/Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner supervision in the ambulatory service clinical setting. The Pediatric Cardiology Clinic provides care and treatment to patients spanning from birth through adulthood. We support the care of patients with a variety of cardiac disorders such as hypertension, congenital heart defects, fetal cardiology, cardiomyopathy, and transplant. The CMAs are responsible for patient intake and rooming, medication review, EKGs, Holter monitor placement, and phlebotomy. Shifts: 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday; no weekends Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Qualifications:
Salary Range: Minimum $17.82/hour - Maximum $29.43/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
