Position Title: Coil Winder
Wage: $19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-2:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Coil Winder for a company in Richmond, IL. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Coil Winder Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Wind wire coils according to technical drawings, specifications, and production instructions - Assemble coils into transformer cores, enclosures, or other electrical assemblies - Attach terminals, leads, and connectors using soldering, brazing, or welding as required - Inspect coils and assemblies for quality, alignment, and proper tension - Adjust winding machines, tools, and processes to meet specifications - Handle and move materials safely, using lifting equipment when necessary - Complete custom orders or modifications based on customer or production requirements - Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety procedures - Test electrical continuity and insulation of coils as needed - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets Coil Winder Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in coil winding, electrical assembly, or related manufacturing preferred - Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical equipment - Basic understanding of reading schematics or work instructions - Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks - Manufacturing/production setting with adherence to safety protocols - May involve standing, bending, and working with machinery for extended periods QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
