A nationally respected facilities services provider is seeking a skilled Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician to support multiple commercial properties throughout the local region. In this role, you'll travel between client sites in a company-provided van, using a wide range of trade skills to keep buildings safe, functional, and operating at peak performance.   • Pay Range: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities



  • Complete preventive maintenance and corrective repairs according to work order requirements
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, fixing leaks, and replacing fixtures
  • Conduct routine painting and carpentry work to maintain a like-new appearance in client facilities
  • Handle minor electrical tasks, including replacing switches, outlets, bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures
  • Carry out safety and asset inspections as assigned
  • Use a tablet/smartphone to document work orders, submit reports, track time, and upload inspection photos
  • Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete assigned tasks
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service
  • Attend required safety trainings and comply with regulatory and company standards
  • Provide estimates for larger repair projects or services
  • Perform additional duties as assigned



Required Skills & Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade certifications preferred
  • 2-5 years of mechanical experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, or related building trades
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions, safety guidelines, and manuals
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present information clearly
  • Proficiency with handheld devices, Microsoft Office, and digital work order systems
  • Valid driver's license in good standing and ability to travel locally between properties
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and the ability to work safely at all times
  • EPA Universal certification required
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and occasionally up to 75 lbs, and to perform physically demanding tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and crawling
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including heights, weather exposure, and areas with mechanical equipment
