Testing and Quality Assurance is needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client onsite in Ashburn, VA



*Contract Length: 6+ months, likely temp to perm



*Must be able to obtain Public Trust- SF-85 AA FAA suitability clearance



*Ability and willingness to travel (90% of the time)



Job Description:

This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining technical quality assurance and control systems. Key responsibilities include defining, documenting, and executing standards, methods, and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of client and/or company products.

  • Leads efforts to achieve critical project and program objectives.
  • Oversees entire projects or processes that span multiple technical areas.
  • Manages large-scale initiatives with moderate impact on overall sub-family results.

Complexity

  • Develops solutions to complex technical problems that affect multiple disciplines or functional areas.
  • Regularly applies ingenuity, creativity, and advanced problem-solving skills to design new technical solutions, processes, and systems that support functional and organizational objectives.

Communication

  • Collaborates closely with internal stakeholders across multiple teams and interacts with client teams.
  • May engage with external partners such as subcontractors or vendors.
  • Influences project and team leaders on solution design, process improvements, and recommended approaches.

Leadership & Talent Management

  • Provides technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge and applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts to guide project outcomes and mentor team members.

Typical Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience, or
  • Doctorate in a related technical discipline.



Employment Pre-requisites

The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, and drug urinalysis.
