As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and responding swiftly to any concerns. This role requires you to be armed and qualified to drive, providing both a visible presence and exceptional customer service to those on-site. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address security-related concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and reporting as required.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with company and client protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Remain alert and attentive at all times, responding promptly to alarms, disturbances, or other situations requiring intervention.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
