Hours:

Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM

Function: Provide support for the sales and service for the Financial Services Department and Financial Planner within the regional satellite offices. Provides client service for assigned Financial Services clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the daily function of the satellite office by providing client service.

  • Responsible for the processing of all paperwork relating to client accounts for processing at the home office.

  • Provides secretarial and receptionist services to the Financial Advisor, greeting all visitors to the satellite office, including clients, prospective clients, vendors, and others.

  • Assists Financial Advisor in establishing appointments with existing clients and potential new clients through the CRM.

  • Manage all items in Status Manager daily.

  • Schedule and prepare for all client reviews using E-Meeting.

  • Schedule and prepare for all new client meetings using E-Meeting.

  • Receives, screens, logs in the Ameriprise system and distributes mail and internal correspondence.

  • Assists Financial Advisor in the preparation of marketing material using Marketing on Demand

  • Responsible for processing client money movement, RMD's, and asset transfers.

  • Assists the Financial Advisor with placing trades at their direction, including fixed income securities and annuities.

  • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Ameriprise CRM Salesforce with meeting notes, client calls, and all activity.

  • Provide back up as needed to other Sales Assistants

  • Maintain a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong people skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a collaborator to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.

Physical Demands:

Operates a keypad device, operates electronic equipment and operates office equipment throughout the day. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing, and data entry up to 75% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" and depth perception for computer work. Frequent uses of extremities to stand, reach, kneel, or bend throughout an eight-hour shift. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Education:

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training or two-year degree.

Experience:

Requires two to five years general experience with two to five years specialized financial services experience required.
