Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development and support of Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) capabilities for both enterprise and stand-alone deployments. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including program management, mission support, software integration, development, system engineering, migration, testing, documentation, network and system monitoring, configuration control, and release management. You will play a key role in developing robust and secure systems that integrate seamlessly with enterprise architectures. What you will do Develop robust AI agent interaction protocols in collaboration with development teams. Ensure the creation of verifiable and compliant access management systems that integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise architectures. Implement security mechanisms to enable safe and controlled Agentic AI workflow integrations, working closely with senior system engineers. Utilize full-stack development skills with Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, and REST services to deliver high-quality solutions. What you need to have Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 4 additional years of software engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree, for a total of 9 years of experience. 5+ years of software engineering experience is required. 2+ years of work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains is required. Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph (required).
