#CA-KN #48XAdminsupport The Performance Improvement Consultant 3 serves as an internal consultant for all levels of the Medical Center. The Consultant leads process improvement activities, which are strategically aligned with the organizational goals using accepted improvement methodologies, including measurement, analysis, development of improvement plan, and the reporting of project results. The Consultant establishes strong working relationships with interdisciplinary members of the health care team including the medical staff, nursing and other operational areas, administration, and support services. The Consultant develops and presents data including executive summary reports, balanced score cards, and other reporting formats via committee structures as assigned. The position encompasses program and project management, consultation, facilitation, data abstraction, analytics and interpretation. This role provides strategic planning and project management support, aligning to organizational goals for the Perioperative Division. Department Overview Perioperative Services at UC Davis Health encompasses multiple Operating Rooms, Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Units, and Sterile Processing Departments, across the UC Davis Health Campus. Surgical care is provided across the entire life spectrum, includes a wide range of inpatient and ambulatory surgical specialties, including (but not limited to: ACS Level 1 Trauma, Bariatric, Burn, Cardiac, Colorectal, Endocrine, ENT, Gynecology, comprehensive Neurosurgery, Oncologic, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic Trauma, comprehensive Orthopedic (Spine, Foot & Ankle, Hand & Hand Trauma), Otolaryngology, Pain, Plastics, Robotics, Thoracic, Transplant, Vascular, Urology, and Uro-Gyn. Additionally, our Children's Surgery Center provides comprehensive surgical care in the full-range of surgical specialties in an age-appropriate setting. POSITION INFORMATION
