As a Security Officer Part Time Command Center in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, respond to incidents, and coordinate communications to help to deter security-related issues. You will remain highly visible, provide exceptional customer service, and utilize technology to maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security-related personnel and resources as needed within the financial institution location.
  • Receive and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and routine matters to appropriate Allied Universal staff and/or client representatives.
  • Maintain detailed logs and records of all calls, incidents, and dispatch activities in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service to client employees, visitors, and guests by addressing inquiries and reporting concerns through proper channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site staff and first responders as required.
  • Follow established security-related procedures and site-specific protocols for emergency response and incident management.
  • Assist in coordinating regular and random patrols by communicating with security-related personnel around the business and perimeter, as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
