The Customer Experience Advocate is responsible for receiving, evaluating and resolving all incoming calls regarding Disability Benefits Law (DBL) and Paid Family Leave (PFL) in a professional manner while delivering exemplary Customer Service to both internal and external customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Deliver superior customer service with professional phone etiquette
  • Identify customer needs, provide solutions, and ensure follow-through
  • Manage calls effectively for one-call resolution and accurate documentation
  • Communicate claim status and process emails promptly
  • Assist callers with policy completion and meet production goals
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's in business or related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in the Insurance Industry preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and empathy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Protective's targeted salary range for this position is $41,600-$55,000 annually. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective's total compensation package for employees.
