Agency Reportingis part of theIntake & Agency ReportingTeam within theCompliance Excellenceorganization. Agency Reporting serves as PG&E's primary contact with the CPUC's Safety Enforcement Division (SED) for audits and data requests. It manages all audit phases, coordinates stakeholder meetings and data requests, andfacilitatesand participates in week-long on-site regulatory audits of PG&E's electric facilities and assets, Transmission, Substation, and Distribution.Itmaintainshigh standardsof accuracy and confidentiality. The team responds to audit findings by developing corrective actions and monitoring improvements.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business needs. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Travel is 40% with occasional overnight stays.

Position Summary

The Compliance & Risk Consultant, Expertwill report to theSupervisorofAgency Reporting.

The key aspects of the role include:

  • Participate infield audits of electric facilities and assets, Transmission, Substation, and Distribution.
  • May work with or provide information to various regulatory agencies, e.g., CPUC Electric Incident Reports; CPUC Inspections; CPUC audit reports; CAISO maintenance inspections; FERC audits or investigations, and NERC/WECC Reliability Standards Compliance.
  • Ensure that all data requests received during the field audits have total verifiable and complete responsesin a timely manner.
  • PerformsAgency Reportingtasksefficiently and in alignment withcomplianceexcellence standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuallyidentifiesandproposesimprovements based on data results. Reviewslarge amountsof information toidentifygaps incomplianceandrecommendscorrective actions.
  • Ensuresdata requests and responses are logged,entered intothe Compliance Excellence Case Management Office Case Management tool to ensure work is tracked and trended.
  • ParticipatesinMock Audits on PG&E assets and facilities asrequiredto ensure on-going compliance requirements.
  • Assists Supervisor in evaluating metric results and outliers and provides back-up support for the Supervisor.

The selected candidate must live within PG&E's service territory.

PG&E isprovidingthe salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Althoughwe estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:

  • Minimum Base Salary (BayArea) $118,000.00
  • Mid Base Salary (BayArea) $153,000.00
  • MaximumBase Salary (BayArea) $188,000.00
  • Minimum Base Salary (California) $112,000.00
  • Mid Base Salary (California) $145,000.00
  • MaximumBase Salary (California) $179,000.00

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7 years of relevant working experience

Desired:

  • BS/BA Degree inEngineering,BusinessAdministrationor equivalent experience
  • Current orpreviousexperience asElectric SystemInspector,ApprenticeLinemen,Lineman,Troublemen, Engineer,Field Engineer, QA or QCSpecialistor equivalent line of business.
  • Process improvement skills
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others to drive for results
  • Computer skills, including competence with Excel, Word, SAP, or similar enterprise resource planning system
  • Organization skills, ability to prioritize,demonstratesadaptability
