As a Security Guard - Unarmed Retail Patrol Driver in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible throughout the area to help to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and proactive communication will foster a welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will also deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. This position requires a valid driver's license due to driving responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols provided by Allied Universal.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe for suspicious activity and/or hazards during patrols and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Work closely with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns within the retail environment.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
