Your Impact

This is a pivotal leadership role for a transformative product executive. You will take the helm of the product management organization for a ~$600M business unit at the core of a multi-billion dollar cloud services leader. Our division is the engine for B2B commerce, managing the critical data flows for thousands of global enterprises. However, after a period of flat growth, we are at an inflection point. The market is evolving, driven by new expectations around the power of Generative AI, and we must evolve with it.

We are seeking a leader to shift our product organization from a reactive to a proactive, market-defining force. The challenge is complex and compelling: rationalize a diverse portfolio of high-growth managed services and mature, high-margin legacy products; inspire and restructure a talented global team of ~30 product managers; and forge a clear, data-driven strategy that leverages our unique assets and the potential of AI to accelerate growth.

This is not a caretaker role. You will be the strategic architect of the business unit's future, partnering directly with senior leadership to make the critical decisions that will drive our next chapter of innovation and market leadership. For a leader who thrives on complexity, builds world-class teams, and has the conviction to drive change in a large-scale environment, this is a unique opportunity to make a defining impact.

What the Role Offers:

  • Own the Product Vision & Strategy: Develop, articulate, and execute a cohesive, multi-year product strategy that reverses revenue decline and drives sustained, profitable growth for the entire B2B solutions portfolio.
  • Lead & Transform the Team: Lead, mentor, and restructure a ~30-person global product management organization. You will clarify roles, establish clear accountability, and foster a culture of proactive, data-informed ownership and strategic conviction.
  • Champion AI-Powered Innovation: Define and drive the strategy for integrating AI into our product offerings to create new value from our unique data assets. Simultaneously, champion the use of AI within the product management function itself to accelerate market analysis and decision-making.
  • Rationalize a Complex Portfolio: Bring strategic clarity to a diverse portfolio of products, including high-growth platforms ($100M+ ARR) and valuable legacy services. Make the tough decisions on where to invest, consolidate, maintain, or sunset products to maximize business value.
  • Champion a Market-Driven Culture: Instill a robust, outside-in approach to product management, expanding inputs beyond sales to include deep market analysis, competitive intelligence, and direct customer discovery to form an independent, well-founded point of view.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the central, unifying voice for product. Build deep partnerships with Sales, Engineering, Professional Services, and Operations leadership to ensure the product strategy is understood, believed in, and executed flawlessly from concept to customer success.
  • Master the Business of Your Products: Go beyond features and functions to own the business outcomes. Define and manage key metrics for adoption, customer satisfaction, bookings, and revenue, and serve as the key product evangelist to senior executives, the board, and the future CEO.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Extensive experience leading and scaling a significant Product Management organization within an enterprise B2B software or cloud services company.
  • A proven track record of developing and executing product strategies that have directly resulted in reigniting and accelerating revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated excellence as a people leader, with specific experience in organizational design, talent assessment, mentoring senior PMs, and making tough personnel decisions.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills; you are a compelling storyteller who can articulate a complex vision and strategy to C-level executives and large audiences.
  • Deep experience managing a complex product portfolio, balancing the needs of high-growth new products with the commercial realities of a large, installed legacy base.
  • A strong "figure-it-out" mentality, defined by intellectual curiosity, a high learning velocity, and an unrelenting drive to succeed in ambiguous, complex environments.
  • Domain experience in B2B integration (EDI, API), supply chain, e-invoicing, or related enterprise data exchange technologies.
  • Experience shaping and delivering an AI product strategy, leveraging technologies to create new product value or enhance customer experiences in a data-rich B2B environment.
  • Experience managing products in a company that has grown through acquisition, with a demonstrated ability to rationalize overlapping product lines.
  • Familiarity with driving a business transformation from on-premise to cloud-native or SaaS models.
