Summary:
Our Regional Business Segment Owner is a self-motivated, reliable and dynamic individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of leveraging their relationship to deliver high value products and services to our customers. Responsible for leading sales and business development for SPARES business segment in North America. Working with customers to generate opportunities to grow the Voith Service Business in North America. Work with key local stake holders to provide best in class service experience to Voith customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Own the regional Business Case performance of the assigned business case, taking accountability for achieving Orders received, OP on Orders received, sales and EBIT in alignment with the global business case strategy.
- Steer & coordinate demands towards cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Service Execution, Project Management) to implement strategic measures and drive the successful acquisition and delivery of business case-specific projects
- Ensure business governance and strategic consistency, including adherence to defined processes, governance rules, and alignment with global business case owner and regional management.
- Define and achieve regional business case goals. Translate them into actionable targets and initiatives and ensure consistent progress through regular tracking and alignment with functional leads.
- Develop, manage, and optimize the regional business case portfolio, including pipeline building, market positioning, and development of new offerings
- Act as regional business development lead for SPARES and strengthen customer relationships and managing the regional pipeline in SalesForce.
- Drive achievement of sales targets, including consistent monthly order intake, year-over-year growth in orders received, and operating profit improvements, with clear accountability for delivering business results
- Contribute to strategic planning and organizational development, supporting annual sales planning, developing winning proposals, and shaping the long-term growth of the service business
- Drive sales, lead the strategy, strengthen customer relationships and develop new customers for growth of the SPARES segment in the region.
- Conduct frequent customer visits to generate growth and identify leads.
- Support Service OPM/PM to develop winning SPARES proposals and smooth execution of projects in your region.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Fully computer literate MS office suite.
Education and Experience:
- At least 10 years or more of experience in similar role.
- University diploma in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Sales experience with proven record of closing orders.
- Project management experience.
- Experience and technical understanding of Hydro turbines, generators and balance of plant equipment.
- SalesForce experience.
Other Requirements :
- Up to 50% or more of travel time to various customer/project sites is required.
