General Description of the Job Class The Assistant Director of Talent and Organizational Development supports the execution and implementation of the initiatives designed to advance the Talent and Organizational Development Strategy across Duke University Health System. As the department expands, this role will lead a team of Talent Development professionals committed to driving talent and organizational development processes throughout the organization to include team member engagement, retention, succession planning, leadership pipeline development, change management and other initiatives that facilitate the achievement of business objectives. The Assistant Director is responsible for implementing strategies and initiatives that develop and accelerate the Talent and Organizational Development Strategy. Required Qualifications at this Level Education Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred. Experience 5 years of work experience in talent development or human resources required. Health system, hospital, or Academic Medical Center experience preferred.
