Summary: Plans, manages and coordinates information systems, software, hardware, telecommunications, and supplier related activities Responsibilities: * Provide on-site IT leadership and point of contact for supplier management / performance, escalations, project teams, corporate initiatives, etc. * Work with business functions to understand requirements, pain points, and upcoming operational changes to translate business needs into clear input for Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) management, architects, and project teams * Plan, coordinate, and monitor work assignments for internal and external resources for I&O support activities * Monitor I&O service quality and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), escalating performance issues and driving resolution as needed; identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and propose improvements * Analyze, recommend and plan for hardware, software, and services expenditures based on business need, technology quality and responsiveness * Serve as an information technology resource and provide advice, guidance, and coordination as needed * Communicate status updates, expectations, and service impacts to stakeholders in a clear and timely way * Ensure system, program and procedure documentation, adherence to IT and Benchmark standards, and training of co-workers in the use of technology tools * All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction. Other information: * 4 year technology degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management; 5+ years of information technology experience * Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to others * Basic vendor management (negotiation, contracts, performance) * Understanding of IT service management principles and SLA management * Understanding of the total business operation to include material procurement, order entry, forecasting, manufacturing, invoicing, customer returns, inventory levels and on-time delivery * Effective communication skills, written and verbal, with stakeholders and suppliers * Ability to effectively mentor employees at all levels * Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools * Ability to drive solutions to planning issues with direction from senior management * Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required * Effective analytical, planning and organizational skills * Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism when representing the company * Demonstrate leadership, influence, and supplier management skills * Ability to work with a team and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with direction * Lead or participate in a continuous improvement activity complete with documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format Education: Geographical Location: Minnesota:Rochester Physical Location: Rochester, MN Shift: Shift 1 Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1700 Full Time Compensation Range: $89,956.000 to $134,934.000 USD Many factors are considered in compensation decisions, including but not limited to skills, certifications, licensures, experience, training, incumbent data, and other business needs.
