Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

  • Internal Coverage: Flexible schedule options (part-time) or (full-time)

  • Non-Paneled role: multiple location coverage (scheduling needs / patient access)

  • No evenings or weekends; Clear communication on coverage assignment (Yes: travel)

  • Primary Care (outpatient) in either Family or Internal Medicine

  • Physician-led, patient centered team-based care environment

  • Potential to transition into full-time primary care paneled role

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nursing (M.S.N.) or completed Physician Assistant program (PA-C), or ability to obtain prior to start

  • Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Connecticut, or ability to obtain prior to start

  • Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (APRN or FNP-C) through the ANCC/AANP or certified as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the NCCPA, or ability to obtain prior to start

  • Unrestricted Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and DEA license for Connecticut, or willing to obtain prior to start

The salary range for this role is $109,500 to $164,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
