Position Summary
Job Summary Supports data analytics and reporting for Light & Wonder's Charitable Gaming business - Grover Gaming. This role partners with Grover Gaming leadership to maximize customer and game performance through actionable reporting, KPI dashboards, and data-driven insights. Responsible for developing and maintaining Tableau-based reporting products, ensuring metric consistency and data quality, and contributing analysis that helps the business make informed decisions across game performance, product, and market dynamics. Essential Job Functions * Build and maintain Tableau reporting products used by leadership and business teams (scorecards, KPI dashboards, monthly/weekly business reporting) * Own reporting accuracy and consistency, including metric definitions, dashboard logic, and standardized reporting output across customers, regions, and product/game categories * Perform analysis using SQL to identify trends, explain performance changes, and surface actionable drivers of customer/game results * Conduct data cleansing and validation to improve reporting reliability (handling missing data, anomalies, mapping inconsistencies, outliers, and standardization issues) * Contribute to analytics process design, including repeatable reporting cadence, executive reporting packs, standardized templates, and best-practice documentation * Support optimization by identifying opportunities and issues via analytics (game selection performance, customer-level KPI changes, utilization patterns, pricing/denomination effects) * Develop executive-level materials and performance summaries (PowerPoint + Tableau) for leadership updates and customer-facing reporting * Stay abreast of customer behavior, product performance, and competitor activity to inform interpretation of trends and benchmark performance appropriately * Apply knowledge of regional market dynamics and regulations to ensure reporting and insights are context-aware and operationally relevant Qualifications Technical skills * BI/ Visualization Tools: Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc * Databases/ Languages: Python, SQL, Snowflake, HiveQL, Azure, etc * Machine Learning Techniques: Classification, Regression, Time Series, Clustering * Excellent analytical, strategic, and presentation skills * Experience in financial modeling and analysis * Strong ability to mine data and compile the information into actionable insights * Demonstrated curiosity and continuous improvement mindset; proactively identifies opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and decision-making Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Required Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) * Three years of experience in analytics, BI, or reporting roles * Advanced Tableau experience (dashboard development, calculations, parameters/actions, dynamic zone filtering) * SQL proficiency (joins, aggregations, and window functions) * Strong analytical problem-solving skills (identify issues, ask questions, drive to resolution) * Experience with data cleansing, validation, and standardization (handling missing data, outliers, mapping inconsistencies) * Final candidates may be required to complete a technical assessment (Coding/Visual). Preferred * Experience with statistical methods and mathematical modeling (regression, forecasting support, hypothesis testing) * Familiarity with cloud / distributed analytics platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, Qubole; Spark concepts) * Experience working with semi-structured data (JSON, nested structures) * Knowledge of the gaming or entertainment industry * Familiarity with charitable gaming regulations / compliance * Experience producing executive-level reporting materials (KPI packs, leadership summaries) Education * Masters' Degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Related * 5-7 Years of experience in the Gaming Industry, Finance, Sales, Consumer products Physical Requirements * The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * Accommodation may be made to enable those with disabilities to perform essential functions while performing the duties of this job * Work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations Light & Wonder and its affiliates (collectively, L&W) are engaged in highly regulated gaming businesses.
