AUDIO OPERATIONS ASSISTANT

WGTE Public Media is seeking a full-time Audio Operations Assistant to support the production, coordination, and delivery of radio, podcast, and streaming content. This role assists with recording, editing, mixing, and quality control of audio and video content using tools such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, and Adobe Premiere Pro, while supporting the day-to-day technical operations of FM 91 and WGTEs digital platforms. The position includes studio and field recordings, uploading and managing content across distribution platforms, repurposing content for digital channels such as YouTube, and supporting podcasting and streaming workflows. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment, familiarity with digital content tools, and an interest in public media, storytelling, and emerging audio platforms.
