Financial Analyst I (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

We are currently seeking an analytical and detail oriented Financial Analyst to join our team. This position will reside in the Investment Operations Middle Office team and will provide daily support for First Citizens Treasury and Capital Markets businesses. The successful candidate will interact across all levels of the bank within Treasury, accounting, technology, risk, and trading.

• Data Analysis - Perform daily portfolio reconciliations of collateral balances, counterparty & custodial trading positions
• Reporting - Produce reporting for regulatory and/or financial purposes as needed
• Business Support - Provide support to management, associates, and other stakeholders via assisting with onboarding new clients and obtaining necessary documentation and contacts
• Management of collateral processes such as Public Funds and OTC derivatives, issuing margin calls, agreeing and booking collateral movements and investigating disputes
• May prepare documentation, presentations, or other materials for business purposes.
• Contribute to various ongoing strategic initiatives to enhance processes, workflows, and systems
• Partnering with risk & control, audit (internal & external) and other teams to respond to queries and guide them through process reviews

Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Finance or Analytics or High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Finance or Analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

• General knowledge of and familiarity with financial instruments (i.e. fixed income, foreign exchange, derivatives) and trade life cycle
• Confident working with all levels of seniority within the organization
• Self-starter with an emphasis on organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
• Murex and/or Calypso experience
• Technical skills such as PowerBi, Jira, Confluence preferred
• Knowledge of Blackrock Aladdin, Chatham, Clearwater, Tri-Margin/Tri-Resolve, Acadia and Bloomberg a plus

If hired in NJ, the base pay for this position is generally between $80,175 and $95,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
