Job Summary:The Government Finance SME (Customer Success Engineer III) is a trusted technical and domain expert who partners closely with customers to help them achieve measurable outcomes across multiple OpenGov product suites. With a strong foundation in public accounting, this role brings deep expertise in financial reporting, audit, compliance, and governmental accounting to guide customers through complex technical and business challenges. The CSE III applies advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to assess non-standard scenarios, identify root causes, and recommend innovative, scalable solutions that align product capabilities with customer goals. As a senior, fully qualified professional, the CSE III plays a critical role in driving adoption, retention, and expansion by ensuring customers realize the full value of OpenGov's platform. The CSE plays a critical role in helping OpenGov retain and grow its customer base. By proactively working with customers to ensure that they are getting the most out of the product, the CSE can help reduce churn and increase adoption. The CSE also helps to generate new growth opportunities by identifying and recommending additional products and services to meet customer needs. Responsibilities:
Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000 On target ranges above include base plus a portion of variable compensation that is earned based on company and individual performance.
