We're looking for thoughtful, skilled professionals who thrive as trusted partners building technology-agnostic solutions and want to apply their talents supporting customers with difficult and important mission sets.
About the Role
Redhorse is transforming how the Department of Defense (DoD) utilizes data and technology. We are seeking an Acquisition & Sustainment Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). Key Responsibilities
  • Participate as a key member in the end-to-end delivery for a prototype cross-functional team, ensuring milestones, timelines, and outcomes align with DoD objectives.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert coordinating across stakeholders, product managers, data scientists, engineers, and designers to inform on context engineering and drive execution.

  • Demonstrated success participating in cross-functional teams, preferably within government or defense environments.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience briefing senior leaders.
  • Experience working in agile environments.
  • Secret clearance required to start.
