Responsibilities
Okaloosa Youth Academyis a non-secure, certified juvenile justice residential facility for males located in Crestview, FL. The mission of Okaloosa Youth Academy is to increase public safety by reducing juvenile delinquency in Florida through effective prevention, intervention and treatment services that strengthen families and turn around the lives of troubled youth. Okaloosa employs dedicated professionals whose goals are to help youth develop competencies valued by the community through therapeutic and educational programming in a secure, structured environment and to promote successful transition into the community. This position is responsible for the coordination and the interdisciplinary care delivered to patients as well as direct responsibility and oversight of all day-to-day operations of the facility. This position ensures the facility adheres to company policies and procedures, ensures the facility is in compliance with all accreditation and regulatory requirements. Qualifications High School Diploma Required, Bachelor's preferred Working knowledge ofCARF as well as operational standards and guidelines related to the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice EEO Statement
