Perform advanced level compensation analysis, reports, and communication of compensation programs. Develop solutions and recommendations with data accuracy while meeting deadlines. Administer compensation policies, procedures, and programs. Manages compensation projects from inception to implementation.

This position is located in Carrollton, TX or Temple, TX, and will require the candidate to report and work from our corporate office 4 days in Carrollton, TX or Temple, TX. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius.

What you'll do as a Sr Compensation Analyst:

  • Participate in strategic and operational initiatives to enhance the compensation program. May act as team leader or team member.
  • Analyze market and compensation data and provide recommendations for exempt jobs.
  • Research external market trends, competition, business intelligence and other information and data to ensure that Compensation Strategy remains market competitive. Research internal data, information, and projects to make recommendations to existing or new compensation strategy initiatives.
  • Develop and document internal business processes that allows us to meet our goals. Make recommendations to improve business processes.
  • Provide advanced analysis and recommendations for Workday business processes.
  • Maintain Workday compensation grades and compensation grade profiles, job profiles, and other job profile related data.
  • Participate in large-scale compensation projects including reorganizations from design to implementation.
  • Conduct Workday testing which includes creating a testing plan with testing scenarios, test cases, root-cause analysis when tests fail, developing alternate solutions, and signing off on a successful test plan. Manage process to implement any changes in Workday.
  • Present compensation training and education to managers. Develop training and education materials.
  • Administer and oversee day-to-day compensation administration. Research and analyze compensation related issues.
  • Work with leadership to evaluate all aspects of compensation strategy and provide data and recommendations.
  • Perform operational compensation responsibilities such as market analysis, salary ranges, job descriptions, policies, compensation email responses, or reports. Develop, update, and distribute compensation communications to leaders.
  • Audit, develop, maintain, and implement all compensation policies/programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and internal policies.
  • Perform required analysis to ensure that exempt and administrative jobs have the appropriate market target based on geographic location.
  • Evaluate state and local minimum wage laws and work with leaders to maintain compliance.
  • Develop content for education and training for compensation programs or initiatives.
  • Manage annual exempt merit and bonus planning for exempt jobs.
  • Perform special analysis and other duties as required.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Sr Compensation Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field such as human resources, economics, business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Three or more years of advanced compensation analysis or related experience or equivalent. Five years of experience preferred.
  • Prefer experience with PayFactors or other survey and market data platform.
  • Prefer experience as Workday Compensation Administrator and Compensation Partner. Experience managing compensation business processes. Experience managing job architecture and job catalog. Experience creating Workday EIB data load files.
  • Prefer experience with data analytics platforms (Tableau).
  • Prefer experience creating and editing training videos.
  • Prefer experience with Atlassian JIRA or other case management system.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaboratively within team and with other HR departments and business/operational leaders.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite experience including advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data. Make recommendations or solutions based on analysis, including internal and external factors.
  • Ability to manage assigned projects including fact-gathering, analysis, meeting deadlines and achieving goals. Make necessary adjustments to models based on new or changing information that impacts the project. Ability to implement any approved recommendations or solutions.
  • Strong project management, decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to discuss compensation and projects with organization leaders.
  • Ability to create content and deliver on-line training.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws related to compensation and HR required.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
