What this position entails

As a Product Designer at Milliman IntelliScript, you'll play a hands-on role in designing innovative solutions for our SaaS platforms (Irix, Curv, R&D, and more). You'll collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to create user-centered experiences that drive value for our customers. This is an opportunity to shape the direction of our products, contribute to a growing design practice, and work on impactful projects in a fast-paced, technical environment.

What you will be doing



  • Work through all phases of the design process - from research and discovery to prototyping, validation, and final delivery
  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and ensure high-quality outcomes
  • Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate insights into intuitive designs that solve real user problems
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using modern design tools (e.g. Figma)
  • Help maintain and evolve our design systems and processes for consistency and efficiency
  • Champion user-centered design across the organization and advocate for best practices


What we need



  • 5+ years of relevant product design experience
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
  • Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and a passion for solving user problems

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is March 31, 2026. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI for quarterly PI Planning meetings and one annual company meeting.

The overall salary range for this role is $93,700 - $177,675. For candidates residing in:



  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, the District of Columbia, New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $107,755 - $177,675.
  • All other locations the salary range is $93,700 - $154,500.


A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
