Job Description




As a Security Officer - Fulfillment Center Patrol - Weekends in Monroe Township, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a high-visibility presence, and help identify and report security-related concerns. You will support access control, assist visitors and team members with professional customer service, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, drivers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and operational concerns through approved communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and support order on site.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel and vehicles, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and direct traffic flow for dock doors, gates, and staging areas as required by post orders.
  • Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, and coordinate with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision regarding security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
