Supply Chain Associate

JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is responsible for supporting the Inventory Planners by monitoring and executing
against Supply Chain reporting to ensure product flow is maximized.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Monitoring and executing against forecasting reporting to ensure accurate and timely forecast data is input and revised to support the product flow and purchasing of SKUs into all McLane Foodservice distribution centers.
Monitor and execute against Exception Dashboard Order Messages to determine the appropriate actions to take which could include placing purchase orders, inventory transfers or request assistance from the Inventory Planner for the best plan of action.
Assist with reviewing and making recommendations on obsolete inventory.

Communicate well to multiple people and departments within and out of McLane Foodservice
Think creatively and be able to determine root causes of opportunities.
Adapt to change quickly

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
HS diploma and 1 year of experience.
Have great decision-making skills
Have problem solving skills.
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong personal computer skills.
Must be an initiative-taker and able to work independently.
