SUMMARY

CAE provides support to the JID's responsibilities as the JCS proponent for the Joint Tactical

Operations (JTO) Interface Training Program, with the objective of ensuring that operational forces

can exploit the full capability of JTO Interface Systems. Support covers the full range of

functions required to plan, develop, coordinate and manage the JTO training program to include

courseware development and world-wide formal academic training and joint exercise support to

support joint, allied and coalition air and ground forces in the employment of JTO Interface

capabilities. Annually CAE conducts approximately 30 Joint/U.S. Training Courses (CONUS and OCONUS) producing approximately 2000 graduates, and 30 Allied Training Courses (OCONUS) producing approximately 500 graduates for 10 allied nations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop curriculum, conduct instruction, and maintain JID courses

  • Liaison with operational Combatant Commander staffs for exercise planning and preparation.

  • Prepare or review OPTASK LINK messages for use in JTO exercises.

  • Assist in selection, modification, or request of Link 16 networks to support JTO exercises.

  • Perform analysis of multi-TDL architecture performance and institute changes based on 2 observations.

  • Coordinate with development and acquisition agencies for procurement of, and evaluate JICO

    automated tools.

  • Maintain configuration management of the JICO automated tools.

  • Represent JID at joint and combined interoperability working groups.

  • Provide course planning and administration, which includes development and maintenance of

    schedules, scheduling hands-on field training, student briefs, handouts and administrative

    documents, and student notification processes.

  • Develop, instruct, revise, and maintain JID course materials.

  • Perform curriculum reviews, courseware development, and multimedia enhancements, especially in

    an electronic classroom.

  • Support world-wide deployed mobile training team requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • 4 years of Multi TDL experience and training

  • Military instructor experience

  • Capable of worldwide deployment supporting Mobile Training Teams, often under field conditions

  • Associate Degree or one year of related experience may be substituted for each year of the

    required education.

  • Secret Security Clearance

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • ISD or curriculum development experience

SECURITY RESPONSIBILITIES

Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.

Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and

materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not

having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically

on company provided resources.

  • Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office

equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an

employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • Must be able to sit down for long lengths of time.

  • Must be able to travel CONUS and to International sites
